John Britt Mid Range Glazes

Due to COVID-19 John may participate in a virtual workshop sometime in August. Check back for updates

John Britt is a glaze expert who has written two books on glaze chemistry.  He will teach those attending about the glaze chemistry of Cone 6 (2232 degrees F) Mid-range firings.  He will also talk about how different chemicals react with each other in oxidation and reduction firings.  Hundreds of Glaze test tiles will be on display to show the results from the firings, with some overlapping glazes to show the effects of the two together.  This is not a hands-on workshop.  You must register by contacting Sylvia Coppola.  If you registered last year you must re register again this year.
