Gwen has worked primarily as a potter for over 17 years. As a high school art teacher, she enjoyed her students learning and experimenting in many mediums, but was passionate about including clay into the curriculum. Clay always seemed to have a life of its own and the possibilities with this medium are endless. Combining the talents developed in drawing, painting, sculpture, and clay, Gwen delights in forming whimsical functional pottery in her Frog Crossin’ Pottery studio.
The fun is to create an individual piece that can not only function well but can bring a smile onto someone’s face.
